Introduction to Buddhist Meditation (4 part series)
This is a 4 part workshop that presents an "Introdution to Buddhist Meditation". It is presented by Dennis Sheppard on behalf of the Buddhist Society of Western Australia (BSWA). The course was filmed over 4 weeks in September 2014 at the Buddhist Centre in Perth WA. Click to go to Workshops »
Week 1: Looks at the basics and introduces "Ana Pana Sati" Meditation, with emphasis on Its dual role in practice, namely "Sumeta" (Tranquility & Concentration) and "Vipassana" (Insight).
Week 2: Investigates why we find it difficult to make our minds peaceful and looks at the hinderences involved. We look at Techniques to bring balance and joy, to understand the power of stillness.
Week 3: Explores how to bring Meditation into our every day lives and looks at balance and Mindfullness.
Week 4: We bring it all together using the wisdom, balance and coherency that has been developed, to investigate ourselves and the world, to see and understand what the Buddha saw.

Marriage Counselling
Counselling or help sessions are offered for married couples or couples in a committed relationship. It can be difficult to know which way to turn when things are falling apart. Help in times like this is important and the involvement of a friendly third party on the side of your relationship is always a very useful thing to turn to.

This section describes my life's passion. It is my work as a Past Life Hypnotherapist. This service is very much informed from my long years as a Buddhist meditator and my quest to understand why it is that we are here. Through hypnosis I have helped many people with all sorts of problems they have had. Hypnotherapy really can help with all sorts physical and mental conditions.
